38: Fashion: Honeys

fashion honeys

Hey guys!

Last Friday, I introduced you to the lovely brand Misch Masch. In that post, I mentioned that if you were really wanting something from that store, but didn’t want to fork over the cash to buy it, you could most likely find a store with a dupe (or something close enough). That’s the store we’re going to look at today! ✨

Let’s take a look at the budget-friendly Honeys.

37: Little Loves: Girly Smells❤

little loves flowers

Hey guys!

So, I’m a little obsessed with keeping my apartment, my clothes, heck even ME clean and girly-smelling. (LOL)
Like, it’s so important to me that my surroundings (including me) smell nice.
Recently, I’ve noticed a trend in that most of the things I use are pink- shampoo, body wash, heck even Febreze. I seriously have a pink problem! 🎀

This week’s Little Loves series, I want to share 5 things that I use on a regular basis to achieve my happy (girly smell) place. To add to the list of awesome things about Japan- it is SO EASY to smell nice over here! Like, so easy.

36: Pretty Things: Adventures in Hair Color

pretty things hc

Hey guys!

So basically I decided a long time ago that instead of paying a zillion dollars at the salon to have my hair colored, I would just buy a box and do it myself. Smart? Probably not (LOL), but it saves me quite a bit of money.

Don’t worry, I still go for regular trims and to have my hair straightened (soooo recommend if you’re a flat iron girl! Saves time AND hair damage!!), and that hits right at ¥15,000 ($160.00 US) every 4 or five months. Sooo, as far as color goes, I take it upon myself!

The thing with that is, it’s like playing hair dye roulette every time you have to dye your hair.  XD

35: Culture: ¥100 Shops (The Dollar Store)

Hey guys!

From the title of today’s post, you’re probably wondering why on earth someone would choose to write a culture post on dollar stores. 😆

The thing is, in Japan, they’re not even close to what we call ‘dollar’ stores back in the States. I mean sure, sometimes the quality of what you purchased isn’t the best, but it was a dollar, right?

Today I want to introduce three different ¥100 shops: Daiso, Seria and Lawson 100.

Hey guys!

I hope y’all had an amazing week! TGIF for sure! ✨✨

It seems, for me anyway, that I dress even girlier in the winter months. (if that’s even possible LOL)
Like, skirts and dresses with pretty sweaters and of course 160 denier tights are my go-to cold weather choices.

Today, for the weekly Fashion Friday post, I want to introduce you to a brand that just gets it. I’m talking about Misch Masch, of course!

33: Little Loves: Favorite Movies of 2015

little loves tickets

Hey guys!

When it comes to movies, books and even music, my taste is a little…eclectic? I guess what I mean by that is my mood swings from super-girly love story to science fiction badassery. I mean, who doesn’t enjoy a sweeping romance just as much as a swashbuckling space drama? (HAH)

Just me?

Let’s take a look at my 5 favorite movies from 2015 and I think you’ll see what I mean.

32: Pretty Things: Night Time Routine

pretty things stars

Hey guys!

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I have a really hard time falling asleep at night. It’s almost like my brain just won’t shut down and wants to have heart-to-heart discussions on every single aspect of life RIGHT NOW. It really sucks when you have to wake up early for work or classes. (or both if you’re a teacher 😛 )

Last week, I wrote about my morning routine so this week I wanted to share some of the things I do at night to get in sleepyhead-mode!
